People have their own preference when it comes to housing. Here in Singapore, you can choose from HBD flats, landed homes and condominiums. If in this case you prefer condominium, here’s a checklist of what you should consider:
When you consider a condominium, make sure it is near your office or workplace. Aside from that, you need to determine if it is near MRT stations, mall and food establishments. If you have a family, you should choose a condominium that is near schools.
Of course you need to determine the monthly pay. You should think if you can afford it or not for apart from the monthly pay, you need to allot a portion for utilities (like cable, internet, telephone, water and electric bills, etc.).
Amenities make the condominium appealing. There are condominiums with pools, fitness centres, beauty salons, etc. You should also ask for in-room amenities like bedrooms, showers, tubs, etc.
You should choose a condominium where you can park your car conveniently. There are issues circulating here that condominiums these days have limited parking space due to land scarcity. Parking area is important to many. Some condominiums limit their parking spaces resulting to upset homeowners. Weeks ago, there is an issue about Parc Oasis. The management suggested measures which include monthly parking fees for the second and following cars.
In the past, homeowners are provided with parking spaces that can accommodate two to three cars without extra payment. Today, condominiums are getting stricter about parking spaces. They only allot one parking space for car owners.
