When it comes to writing, there are a lot of topics that matter and there are a lot of topics that don’t. Some topics, instead of doing good to you, end up wasting your time. Well, let’s face it, there are other more important topics to write about. By the way, if you haven’t noticed, this article is about writing about topics that actually matter and not about just any random topics.
In this article, we want to encourage people to write more about things that actually matter instead of things that don’t. The saddest part abou t today’s generation is that opinion is the new fac and yes we do agree that opinions matter, we can’t still can’t substitute face for opinion. That would be exceedingly wrong. There are a lot of important topic out there and there are very few people who have actually devoted themselves into writing abou these important topics. Sadly, it is still the law of supply and demand that affects the topics we deem important and there’s no way around that. People just aren’t interested in some topics and there’s nothin we can do about that.
Wouldn’t i be great to have fruitful conversations and learn at least one important new fact every day? Well, that would be really hard to do. But then again, it isn’t impossible! We are information feeding machines and depending on the type of information our minds crave, that is also what we seek on a day-to-day basis. Some people are interested in knowing more about other people while other people are more interested about learning about the world. Everyone has a different taste when it comes to the information they feed on but come on, they got to feed on something.
Information is like food and although we have different preferences, we all need to eat! Sadly, not everything we eat helps build a healthy diet. Not everything we learn is beneficial to us. Sometimes, we end up eating junk food just like learning about junk material. We should be more picky about what we learn. Sadly, not everything we learn nowadays is correct and because of the overload of information, we end up letting it slide and digesting it like it is the truth. It is very rare for someone to double check and research on what they know nowadays compared to just take something in right away without due research.
Some people would rather know more than know right and this is definitely something that needs to be changed. People need to be careful about what they learn instead of taking in whatever is available. After all, education is about asking the right answers.
