Smoking is really dangerous to a person’s health and there are no benefits that you can get in smoking. In fact, it will only give you severe diseases which will immobilize you or worse, will kill you. Literally, smoking lessens the life span of a person. In fact, people who reach the age of 30 and do not quit smoking may die.
Actually, almost all smokers started smoking at the early age of 21. However, there are some cases that adults below 25 years old (considered as teens) begin smoking on their 18th year of existence.

- Have motivation: Why you are doing this? What for? These are top questions that you need to answer if you want to quit smoking. There is really a need for you to have motivation so that you will not easily give up in quitting to smoke.
- Discourage taking “just a single puff”: If you really what to quit don’t fool yourself. Sometimes, you will be tempted to puff just one. But hey! That’s still smoking. And do not let that happen because one puff will eventually lead to two, three, four and so on until you are already back as a smoker.
- Plan it: Since quitting is not as easy as 1-2-3. You have to plan it. Make a bulletin board wherein all your warnings signs are placed or perhaps make a note on your computer to remind you every day that you need to quit smoking.
